Тип  урока: урок розвитку мовленнєвої компетентністі, комбінований

Намір вчителя: сприяти активізувати лексичні одиниці теми; удосконалити навички діалогічного і монологічного мовлення з опорою на малюнки, предмети; розширювати уявлення учнів про продукти харчування та їх значення в житті людини, розвивати комунікативні здібності й навички користування англійською мовою; виховувати свідоме ставлення до вибору продуктів харчування(здорове та шкідливе харчування), правил поведінки між покупцями і продавцями.

Очікувані результати.  На кінець уроку учні вміють: висловлювати речення з використанням лексики з теми «Shopping», усвідомлювати про продукти харчування та їх значення в житті людини та правил поведінки між покупцями і продавцями.

Обладнання: підручник та робочий зошит Gateway A1, роздатковий матеріал

І. Початковий етап

1. Організаційний момент: привітання, перевірка готовності до уроку, перевірка відсутніх на уроці. 

Teacher: Good morning, pupils! I’m glad to see you! Get ready for the lesson, please. So, who is absent today?

Yes, you are right. Our topic is shopping. We continue to speak about it.

3. Warming-up activity

Teacher:  Dear children, today  we will work in 4 groups: baker's, newsagent's, greengrocer's and chemist's.

1. Актуалізація опорних знань з лексичного матеріалу

Teacher: I’ve brought packets with different products and goods which I’ve bought at the market and shops. Will you remind me what we can buy at the market and shops. You’ll show the thing and say we can buy  …  (робота з предметами).

Pupils: buns, cakes, bread; copybooks, pens, magazines, pencils; oranges, potatoes, bananas, carrots; medicines, toothpaste, shampoo and bars of soap.

Teacher:  And now, we work in pairs. You can see two columns of words. You should match the words from these columns and make up a word combination. Please,look at the screen.Check in the task.

Teacher: Welldone, your knowledge will be  useful for the next task. Work in pairs and ask each other  what products can you buy in the:

1) baker’s shop?

2) butcher’s?

1) Open your students book on the page 74 and look at the task 1. Match the photos with the shops.

2) Great job, guys. Now,  complete the dialogue at the exercise  2 and use vocabulary from ex. 1

I’ll give you short test about our topic. You have only 5 minutes.

2. Інструктаж з виконання домашнього завдання (3 хв)

Complete the tasks 1, 3, 4 and 5 in your workbooks. Look through the words about shoppin again.
