Цілі:  доповнити знання учнів новими відомостями про Україну;

 Ввести та активізувати в мовленні учнів новий лексичний матеріал;

 Розвивати навички усного мовлення; читання,аудіювання;

 Розвивати логічне мислення, мовну здогадку;

 Виховувати любов до Батьківщини

Обладнання: картинки, картки з індивідуальними завданнями, карта України, лексична таблиця, презентація «Ukraine»

a) Рольова гра

 Role-play the situation in pairs. You are in one of British schools. One of you will play the role of the Geography teacher and the rest are pupils. The teacher wants his pupils to know more about the geographical position of Ukraine. Teacher will ask you questions and your task is to answer them and use the map where it is possible. 

1. Where is Ukraine situated?
2. What can you say about its geographical position?
3. Which countries does it border on?
4. What seas is Ukraine washed by?
5. What part of Ukraine is occupied by the mountains?
6. Is Ukraine visited by tourists?
7. What are the tops of high mountains usually covered with?
