Тема. Брейн – ринг. « What? Where? When? »

Мета: закріпити знання, навички та вміння з вивченого лексико – граматичного матеріал з різних тем; розвивати кмітливість, винахідливість, здібності, увагу, уяву, пам'ять, почуття кольору та світу, комунікативні вміння у вихованців, зв’язне  мовлення, логічне мислення , просторове уявлення, навички   роботи з папером, картоном ; виховувати естетичний смак, інтерес до техніки, вміння працювати у команді, культуру спілкування.

Завдання заходу  - стимулювати підвищення інтересу до вивчення англійської мови

Методи –  інтерактивний

Тип заходу – узагальнення знань та умінь

Вид заходу – ділова гра

Форма заходу – інформаційно - ігрова

Міжпредметний зв'язок  з народознавством та технікою

Обладнання: таблиці, плакати, моделі виробів, роздатковий матеріал, аудіо матеріали, картон, папір, клей, олівці, ножиці, грамоти.

Очікуваний результат – систематизувати знання дітей та виготовити «Magic box» .

Хід заходу

1. Вступна частина

1. Організаційний момент. Перевірка готовності вихованців до заняття.

2. Повідомлення теми у мети заняття.

- Good afternoon, children! Today we have a game lesson “Do you know English well?” Let’s see who is the best in English.

Do you like English?

Do you know many English words?

Let me introduce our teams, the team “Super Stars” and the team “Dream Team”.

II Основна частина

Contest 1. “Introduction”

Dear captains, introduce yourself and the members of your teams.

Капитани команд представляють себе та членів своїх команд, разповідають про їх захоплення та інтереси за схемою :

• Name
• Age
• Address
• Favourite school subjects
• Hobby
• Likes/dislikes
• Friends

Contest 2. ‘‘Warmingup''

Презентація девізов команд.

"Fortunefavours the brave", “Live and learn”, “No pain, no gain”, “First think, thenspeak”, «Two heads are better than one» («Сміливість підкорює міста », «Без труда не виловиш і рибку із пруда», «Вік живи, вік навчайся», «Спочатку подумай, а потім говори», «Одна голова – добре, а дві - краще!»).

Contest 3 “My dear school”
-Your task is to name as much things connected with school as possible.
The difficulty is that you shouldn’t repeat one and the same word two times.
-Ready, steady, go!!!
(Треба перерахувати предмети пов’язані зі школою). 

Contest 4. ”Lazy Sentences”
-Let us do one more task. Now we will give you some cards with 5 sentences. But be careful! The words in the cards are put into wrong positions. You are to correct the mistakes. Start doing the task. You are given 2 minutes.

Contest 7. “Captains’ contest”.

Dear captains, this contest is for you. You know a lot of words, you can read and write. And what about grammar? Correct the mistakes. (Капитанам команд даются карточки, в которых они исправляют ошибки. В это время проводится следующий конкурс.)

I think this contest is the most difficult. You should form English idioms of comparison. You should complete each of them with a suitable word or words. Choose from the following: chalk from cheese, a bee, a goose, a bat, coal, gold, two peas, a king, a feather, a church mouse.
