Techniques of making cartoons What do you know about cartoons and their making? What makes characters move in the film? What are the steps of making a cartoon? What do you find the most difficult in this work? What do you know about the history of cartoons? Animation is a display of images of artwork or model positions in order to create an illusion of movement. To create the illusion of movement in a traditionally animated film, each drawing differs slightly from the one before it. Another trick is a bird in the cage. There were times when people didn’t like to keep birds in cages but they still wanted them to be close to their houses, that’s why they invented such a cartoon for their children. (for it you should tie two ribbons to the card with two pictures from both sides – a bird and a cage, if you whirl the card you’ll get a bird in the cage)
