Тема: My favourite kind of sport

Цілі:

• активізувати лексику за темою “Sport”; розширити знання учнів про види спортивних ігор та їх значення в житті людини; формувати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення; розвивати навички аудіювання та читання.
• сприяти розвитку допитливості, мовної здогадки, мовних навичок усного та письмового мовлення на іноземній мові.
• виховувати бажання до здорового способу життя.

Тип уроку: комбінований урок

Методи і прийоми: бесіда, пояснення, словесне заохочування, ігрові, наочні.

Наочність та обладнання: дошка, ноутбук, екран, слайди, відеоролик, стрічка, м’яч, роздатковий матеріал.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1) Привітання. Вправа зі стрічкою

Пропоную учням привітатись за допомогою стрічки. Учні представляють себе та передають стрічку один одному.

• Good morning, children! I’m your coach today. Do you know who is coach? (тренер-інструктор). Let`s get acquainted!  

Передаєм стрічку, вітаємось.

• As you can see, this ribbon unites us at this lesson. Tell me, please, where people can use it?
• You are right in sport.

2)Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу

• Постановка теми уроку

Пропоную учням продивитись відео ролик для мотивації роботи над темою уроку

• Let`s see a motivation video, that will help us to tune in to the topic.      * to tune in- налаштуватись
• Look at screen. Do you like sport? Did you see your favourite  kinds of sport?
• So, the topic of our today’s lesson is “ My favourite kind of sport”

• If we have sporty theme today, I offer you to have sporty lesson today. And we’ll name it “The Smart Race” and out contest for today:

ІІ. Основна частина уроку

1. Актуалізація опорних знань учнів

1. So, what sport is for you? Make a mindmap  (з використанням підказок « хмаринки слів»
2. Do you know poem or proverbs about sport?
3. Let’s speak about sport. Game “Wordwall”  https://wordwall.net/resource/5852708/questions-about-sport
4. And what do you know about sports? Guess the riddles. Read the description of the sport and try to guess what kind of sport is it?

Riddles

1. It is a team game. Both men and women can play it. The players have a ball. They play the ball with their hands. There are six players in each team.  ( volleyball)
2. It is very popular game in England and Ukraine. The players kick the ball with their feet into the goal of the opposite side. ( football)
3. It is a very beautiful kind of sport. The sportsmen do some exercises and dance to music on the ice. The dancers have very nice costumes on.  (figure skating)
4. This game is played everywhere – in Ukraine and in other countries too. It was first played in the USA. To play this game you need a ball and a basket. (basketball)
5. We do this sport in  a place full of water where you enjoy dive. (swimming)

5. Game “ The fourth is needless” You have to find needless word.

6. And now, work in pairs and write as you can words to the group.

2. Аудіювання

• Ok, let`s listen the dialogue about teens favourite sports. Then complete this cards about their conversation.

• Have you joined to ________ club?
• No, I haven’t. I don’t think about it.
• Maybe you’ve _______ to your favourite sport club? What sport do you _______?
• I like _________ and ____________.
• I like basketball too. Maybe join to our our _________?
• No, I prefer  __________. And you?
• I really like __________. I am good at catching the ball.
• Cool! Let`s play baseball after school!

3. Діалогічне мовлення

• Учні заповнюють картки та складають аналогічні діалоги.

4. Граматика    Verbs: Go, Do, Play

Граматичний баскетбол. Учні розташовують назви видів спорту до відповідного кошика.

5. Монологічне мовлення.

Учні отримують картки та заповнюють пропуски словами. Потім на основі зразку складають свої розповіді про улюблений вид спорту.

ІІІ Заключна частина уроку

1. Гра « Хто я?»

Учням одягається корона з прізвищем відомого спортсмена. Клас має описати його та вид спорту, яким він займається, не називаючи його ім’я.

2. Підведення підсумків

Гра з м’ячем T-P1-P2
