-розвивати навички спілкування по темі, ефективно співпрацювати під час парної роботи.

Хід уроку

1. Організаційний момент:

Nice to meet you Children. How are you today? Are you ready for the lesson?

2. Повідомлення теми та завдань уроку:

    Our today’s topic is Food . Countable/Uncountable Nouns».

 Today we’ll revise and learn new words on this topic and develop our reading and speaking skills.

3. Мовленнєва зарядка.

 Гра «Естафета»: перед вами лежить фрукт, ви повинні сказати, що є у вашого сусіда, а потім сказати, що є у вас.

Наприклад:

1-й учень: I have an apple. 

 2-й учень: She has an apple. I have a banana.

3-й учень: He has a banana. I have a…

Роздаєм ще один фрукт, повторяєм «ланцюг»

4.  Фонетична розминка:

Let’s do our phonetic exercise! What poems about food do you know?

I scream, you scream,                                             I like honey on my bread

We all scream: “Ice-cream!”    I like salad, I like eggs.

      I drink water all day long.

I’m hungry, she’s hungry,     All these things make me strong.

He is hungry too!

We are hungry, you are hungry, they are hungry too!

6. Основна частина уроку:

Information about Countable/Uncountable Nouns; there is, there are construction

Some foods are countable:  a banana, an apple,  and some foods are uncountable: some pasta, some rice. Can you divide foods in the picture into each column?

Look at the picture of food and drinks. How many items can you name, using there is, there are…

Fill in the gaps with is or are:  Make negative sentences:

“There is some milk”  “There isn’t any milk”

“There are some tomatoes”  “There aren’t any tomatoes”

There ……….. some cheese 

There ..……….some apples

There…………some sandwiches

There………..some bread

There………..some lemons

There………..some jam

There……….some juice

There………some bananas

There………some butter

Фізкультхвилинка:

Now pupils let’s have some rest:

Hands on the head,

Hands on the hips,

Hands on the table,

Hands like this.

Hands on the shoulders,

Hands up and down,

Hands behind the head

And sit down!

Гра. Робота з роздатковим матеріалом.

Now let’s play the game. Divide pupils into 2 groups. Then give each group 2 baskets: one for countable nouns and one for uncountable nouns, and set of cards with food. Pupils should put them in the correct basket. The group that finishes first is the winner.

Teacher: Look at the pictures. How many foods can you name? Which foods are good for you and which are bad for you? Cut out the food pictures. Glue each picture in the correct column.

Підбиття підсумків. Today we have learned the new words about food and can divide it into countable or uncountable.
