Урок на тему: «Seasons and weather» для учнів 3 класу

Мета: ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО «sunny», «hot», «rainy», «snowy», «windy», «cloudy»  та закріпити їх у вживанні в усному мовленні; практикувати учнів вести діалог у мовленнєвій ситуації  «Talking about the weather»; повторити раніше вивчені лексичні одиниці «winter»,«spring»,

«summer», « autumn»; ознайомити учнів зі структурами «I like…» ,«What is the weather like…?»; розвивати увагу, пам'ять, техніку читання та навики письма.

Тип уроку: урок вивчення нового матеріалу.

Обладнання: малюнки пір року, картки зі словами, картки для роботи в групах, аудіо запис по темі уроку.

-  At our lesson Miss Poppins comes to see us. She wants to greet us.

- Listen to her attentively.

ПОВІДОМЛЕННЯ ТЕМИ, ЦІЛЕЙ, ЗАВДАНЬ УРОКУ

Today we’ll tell about our favourite seasons of the year. We revise words  which we learned at our lessons. And also we’ll learn a rhyme about the seasons and study to read and write.

- OK. Let’s start our lesson.

СПРИЙМАННЯ Й ОСМИСЛЕННЯ УЧНЯМИ НОВОГО НАВЧАЛЬНОГО МАТЕРІАЛУ

а) читання тексту  з використанням ЛО  «Seasons and weather»

- Look at the blackboard and listen to the story. Our Mr Tongue likes to travel very much. And he makes travelling around the world. When he starts to travel it was autumn. Then it was winter. After winter comes spring. And then our favourite season -  summer.

б) робота з новими лексичними одиницями

Look at the pictures and describe the weather. Use these words:

«sunny», «hot», «rainy», «snowy», «windy», «cloudy».

Звучить запис пісні «Head, shoulders, knees and toes». Учні виконують рухи разом із вчителем та вимовляють слова пісні.

 (Учні складають діалоги, відповідаючи на питання та вживаючи улюблену пору року,   пояснюють свій вибір. Один-два учні записують відповіді на питання на дошці)

Pupils fill in the gaps in the dialogues using “My favourite season/month is…” to make true statements about themselves. And the some pupils write down the sentences on the board.
