Мета : удосконалювати вміння вимовляти, читати, розуміти та розпізнавати
вивчені ЛО з теми « Продукти харчування » під час читання та на слух та
вживати її в усних висловлюваннях, ставити запитання загального типу;
продовжувати формувати навички розуміння тексту на слух; навички
діалогічного мовлення та читання; розвивати мовну здогадку й мовленнєву
реакцію учнів, слухову і зорову пам’ять, увагу і мислення, пізнавальні
здібності, виховувати бажання дотримуватись здорового способу життя,
культуру спілкування; поглибити знання та сприяти зацікавленості у
розширенні своїх знань у вивченні англійської мови.
Тип уроку: урок – узагальнення.
Обладнання: малюнки із зображенням продуктів харчування, слайдові презентації з теми, відео фільм, відео ролик – пісня, картки.

І. Організаційна частина уроку.

Today we’re continuing learning how to speak about food and meals. That’s why you’ll have to remember and learn how to use the vocabulary necessary for you to talk, to ask and answer about your food preferences, what you like to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and learn how to make dialogues.
And now I want to draw your attention to the board where the words of wisdom are written:
Eat well, feel great, look great!
I eat to live, but I don't live to eat.
I think these words can be the motto of our lesson.

Food and Drinks (English Meals)
The Englishmen usually have four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, tea (at 5 o'clock) and dinner. Breakfast usually consists of cornflakes with milk and sugar, or bacon and eggs, toast and marmalade, tea or coffee. Some people have just a cup of tea or coffee with a toast. In the afternoon everything is stopped for lunch. People visit cafes, coffee bars or restaurants for lunch. Factory workers usually eat in their canteens. The Englishmen like healthy food. Usually they eat steak, roast beef, pudding, fish and chips. Afternoon tea is at about 5 o'clock. It is a cup of tea with cakes or biscuits. Dinner is usually at 7 o'clock. The main course can be fish or meat with a lot of vegetables. The next course is something sweet, such as fruit pie. The English are fond of tea, they can drink it 5 or 10 times a day.

At the supermarket
As Mr. Johnson entered the supermarket he got a shopping cart and pushed it toward the dairy section. In the dairy section he got some milk, eggs, cheese, and butter, then he went to the cereal aisle. Mr. Johnson and his wife like to eat healthy cereal for breakfast, but his children love to eat sweet cereal, so he chose both kinds of cereal. Mr. Johnson's wife wanted to make a cake for dessert and told her husband to pick up some flour, sugar and baking powder. After Mr. Johnson had gotten everything on his shopping list, he went to the cashier to check-out. His bill was thirty-two dollars and fifty nine cents.
