Урок

Тема: Телебачення.

Підтема: Телевізійні програми.

Практична мета: вчити вживати лексику в реченнях, вчити робити монологічне та діалогічне повідомлення щодо теми; вчити вживати неозначені займенники; вчити читати текст з вилученням основної інформації; вчити аудіювати текст.

Розвиваюча мета: розвивати уяву, мовну реакцію, здатність самостійно планувати мовний вчинок, розвивати довготривалу та короткотривалу пам’ять.

Освітня мета:удосконалювати якість вимовних навичок.

Виховна мета: виховувати культуру спілкування.

Обладнання: текст для читання; картки (діалог); аудіозапис тексту та завдання до тексту; конспект «Неозначені займенники» (Мерфі), вправи; відеопрезентація до уроку; розмовні фрази; картка-таблиця (до аудіювання).

     *Can you enumerate them?

     * What of them is the most popular?

     *Why is it so popular?

     3.1. Складання mind-map (на дошці)

  TV is popular because…

 -entertainment

 -watch a lot of films

 -can learn history, art, culture of different countries

 -can choose any program they like

 -people get a lot of information out of it

 

T: So, to do all this TV needs a lot of people. What are they?

 

     3.2. Монологічне мовлення

 T: So, how do all these people work?

      Look through the text of ex.1, p.57 and tell a few words about:

  -program organization;

  -a program plot;

  -causes of competion on TV.

(Use the colloquial phrases – на дошці)

 T: Imagine, that it’s a microphone. Express your point of view concerning the question: What role TV plays in our life.             

 

     3.4.Читання тексту «Television»

 1)T: Read the text and do some tasks after it.

    a)correct my statements

1)The history of television dates back to the end of the XX century.

2)In 1926 German inventor got the picture of an animal.

3)In 1929-1931 television developed in one country.

4)In the former USSR electronic television appeared in 1928.

    b)answer the questions:

1)Who was the father of of electronic television?

2)What happened in 1953?

3)What is the latest invention?

4)With the help of television people are able to see different things. What are they?

5)Is television a very powerful force? How can TV influence people?

      2) Look through the text and write down the names of all kinds of TV programs.

 

     3.5.Обговорення ТВ програм

 1)опрацювання лексики с.56

 Т: Choose the words noting frequency of the show: daily, weekly, monthly.                 Serious programs: the news, current affair pr-ms, special report, factual, reportage, live footage, educational pr-m, sport pr-m, weather report.

          Entertaining programs: talk (chat) show, children’s pr-ms, cartoon, wildlife pr-m, variety show, musical variety, game show, quiz pr-ms.

 Films: documentary, feature film, TV play (film) television version of a play, thriller, western, sitcom, “soap” opera, video clip.

T: There are a lot of programmes on TV. Now guess the kind of a TV programme.

 

-         A programme that is broadcast several times a day which tells you about all the important events (the news).

-         A film story for children made by photographing a series of drawings that they seem to move (cartoons).

-         A TV story about a group of people and their lives which is broadcast regularly for many years (soap opera).

-         A situation comedy, a popular form of humorous TV or radio show typically having a number of standard characters who appear in different stories every week (sitcom).

-         A programme that gives you facts and information about a serious subject such as history, science or social problems (documentary).

 

 

 

 3.6.Аудіювання тексту

 Т: : Let’s listen to the members of a family. While listening fill in the table and say what programme they have chosen.

 

(Students listen to the record and fill in the table)

 

3.7. Діалогічне мовлення

  Т: Choose the program you like most of all and try to persuade your desk-mate to watch it. Use the following phrases on the card.

   (учні драматизують діалог 2-3 пари)

  -повторення правил (unit 84, Мерфі)

  -виконання вправ (unit 84.1, Мерфі)

     4.4.Заключне слово вчителя.

 Т: - We must realize that television in itself is neither good nor bad. Television is  a great invention but people should be selective enough when choosing what to watch.

• TV viewers should be more careful about the programmes  they pick out.
• TV mustn’t occupy all our spare time. We should have time to enjoy other leisure activities- going to cinemas, theatres; enjoy reading books, listening to music…
• It’s up to ourselves to decide whether to be corrupted or entertained by television.
