*Активізувати лексику з теми, назви кольорів.
*Розвивати пам’ять , увагу, творче мислення, навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення,
уміння працювати в парі та групі.
*Прищеплювати любов до англійської мови, почуття відповідальності, вміння радіти за виконану роботу.
Обладнання: підручник А. Несвіт, телевізор, пісні, вірш, роздавальний , дидактичний демонстраційний матеріал, літери з назвою теми, виставка малюнків.

Хід уроку
I Greetings
Teacher: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you.
Children: Good morning, teacher! We are glad to see you too.
T.: Let’s sing a “Hello song”. (Singing a song).
And now look at the blackboard and guess the topic of our lesson. You are right! The topic of our lesson is “School”.
II Motivation
T.: So, today we are going to sing songs, read with Captain Flint, recite poem “School”, play “Memory Game”, listen to dialogues, review colours, describe a picture, play a game “Translator”, listen to monologue. What for?
Right you are: to use our knowledge in everyday life.
