Тема: Я б хотів отримати цю роботу! Структура листа-заяви.

Мета уроку:

формування ключових компетентностей:

• вміння вчитися – розуміти мету навчальної діяльності, уміння виділяти головне, організовувати свою діяльність, використовувати знання  на практиці;
• соціальна та загальнокультурна – розвивати вміння зв’язного мовлення в учнів: уміння ввічливо висловлювати власні переконання, думки, згоду й незгоду, використовуючи для цього необхідний лексико-граматичний інвентар; спрямувати на пізнання особистих інтересів та власних здібностей щодо вибору майбутньої професії;
• інформаційно-комунікаційна – уміння раціонально використовувати ґаджети для пошуку та опрацювання  інформації, уміння спостерігати та робити логічні висновки.

формування предметної компетентності:

• навчати сприймати на слух та виокремлювати необхідну інформацію під час перегляду та прослуховування відео/аудіозаписів;  
• організувати монологічне мовлення учнів на матеріалі прослуханого;
• формувати навички вживання модальних дієслів зі значенням необхідності (need) та зобов’язань (have to); вживання сталих конструкцій, виразів  в діловому писемному мовленні;
• розвивати логічне, асоціативне мислення, уяву учнів, комунікативні навички в парній та командній роботі;
• формувати відповідальність за виконувану роботу;
• формувати в учнів інформаційно-комунікаційну грамотність (використання

IT-технологій (ґаджетів, застосунків, QR-кодів) як інструменту для здобуття та закріплення нових знань);

• підтримувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

         Очікувані результати:

на кінець уроку учні вмітимуть:

• застосовувати базові алгоритми (сприйняття, розуміння, відтворення почутого) аудіювання для досягнення максимального результату;
• розуміти інформацію з відеоролика;
• співпрацювати у команді;
• вести групову бесіду, використовуючи мовний інвентар з теми;
• користуватись сталими конструкціями, виразами  в діловому писемному мовленні.

 

Обладнання: підручник, дошка, ілюстративний матеріал, планшет, відеозапис, смартфони, роздатковий матеріал, QR-коди.

 

 

Procedure of the lesson

1. Introduction

1. Greeting and Aim

We are about to start our lesson! Take your seats. The topic of the lesson is “Jobs and responsibilities” and improving your writing skills. By the end of the lesson you will be able to use language related to job descriptions and types of work; write a basic letter of application.

The motto of our lesson is DREAMS + WORK EQUALS SUCCESS

That’s your first task!  Give your ideas what stands by this phrase.

Warm up

As we don’t know your preferences and I didn’t know my own as well at your age. So, if I didn’t enjoy studying English, I wouldn’t get into the University. If I didn’t get into the University, I wouldn’t be your teacher, etc.

Now, tell me what grammar we’ve studied previous lesson to describe imaginary situation?

Let’s improve the use of it playing a game “Wheel of Fortune” and complete the sentence so it’s true for you:

5. Teamwork. Writing task.

Firstly, read the WRITING FOCUS. Get familiar with the appropriate pattern. Secondly, complete the examples with the phrases in purple from the letter from Exercise 3. Translate unknown words. Finally, write the letter and improve your skills in writing using formal language. Read the letter to check.

 

3. Home assignment and summarizing.

Our lesson is about to finish. You did a great job today. Your marks for today will be sent in Google classroom. Thanks for your creative work.

Assignment: Think about your dream job and write a basic letter of application. Use phrases in ex.4, p.82 (Focus 2, St.b.)
