ПІДТЕМА: День за днем. Бабусені казки

МЕТА: активізувати вживання лексичного матеріалу теми; повторити вживання минулого часу дієслова; удосконалювати навички аудіювання та техніки читання;  навчати учнів розуміти загальний та детальний зміст тексту; продовжувати формувати навички мовлення; виховувати любов до художньої літератури.

ОБЛАДНАННЯ: підручник, тематичні малюнки, ілюстрації казок Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Little Red Riding Hood, The Turnip, Cinderella, The three bears, Тhe three little pigs.

ТИП УРОКУ: урок застосування знань та формування умінь.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Greeting and Aim.

Good morning, pupils! How are you today?

Today we ‘ll revise vocabulary and grammar material.

2. Warming up.

T: Answer my questions: What day is it today? What date is it today?

3.Game «Alphabet puzzle».

T:You see numbers, it is a code. Find in the ABC the hidden words.

P: it is “Fairy tales”.

T: that`s right. Today we`ll speak about your favorite fairy tales and revise grammar material.

ІІ. Основна частина.

1.Перевірка домашнього завдання.

Let`s check your home task. (Vocabulary box p.127, 128)

2. Гра “Guess the tale”.

(На дошці закріплені ілюстрації цих казок).

1. Snow White and the seven dwarfs.
2. Little Red Riding Hood.
3. The Turnip.
4. Cinderella.
5. The three bears.
6. The three little pigs.

T: I`ll read parts from fairy tales and you should guess the title.

1. Once upon a time there were three little pigs – three little brothers. Their names were Naf-Naf,  Nuf-Nuf  and Nif-Nif.
2. Once upon a time there was a little girl who lived in a village near a big wood. The girl had a grandmother who lived in a little house on the other side of the wood. Her grandmother made the girl a nice cloak with a red hood.
3. Once upon a time an old man sowed a turnip seed. The rain fell, the sun shone, and the seed grew and grew into a very big turnip.
4. The mother bear said, “Who sat on my chair?” And the father bear said, “Who sat on my chair?” The baby bear said, “Oh! Look! Who sat on my chair and broke it?”
5. The prince ran after her. But he saw only the slipper and picked it up. He looked everywhere for Cinderella, but couldn’t find her. He still didn’t know her name.
6. In the evening the masters of the house came home. They were seven dwarfs. They saw that someone had eaten and drunk from their plates and cups. Soon they saw Snow White sleeping in one of the beds.

T: Let`s remember the rule Past Simple. You have cards, so try to build Past Simple. So, let`s start…

6. Гра «Fairy tale creators».

T: Now you have a chance to become an author of fairy tale. You all have roles. Cats will say «mew-mew», Dogs - «bow-wow»,  Mice - «oh my God», Granddaughters -«I`m pretty», Grandfathers - «grandma, grandma», Grandmothers - «grandpa, grandpa», Turnips – «I`m big».

Listen m and let`s create a story!

Narrator: Once upon a time there was a grandmother, a grandfather and their granddaughter. The grandfather decided to grow a turnip.  

Turnip: Oh, what a lovely day today!

Narrator: One day the grandfather went to the garden to pull out the turnip.

Grandfather: Hm-hm.. My turnip is really big.

Narrator: Pulled and pulled it but cannot pull it out!

Turnip: I am stuck.

Grandfather: Oh, It's too big for me! Grandmother, come and help me, please.

Grandmother: OK. I am coming.

Narrator : They pulled and pulled it but cannot pull it out!

Turnip: I am stuck.

Grandmother: Oh, it's too big for us! Granddaughter, come and help us, please.

Granddaughter: Just a minute, I am coming.

I am a very pretty girl,

Grandfather: let’s pull it out! 1, 2, 3 Oh, it's too big for us!

Narrator: They pulled and pulled it but cannot pull it out!

Turnip: I am stuck.

Granddaughter: I know! Let's call our dog. He is very strong.

Grandfather, Grandmother, Granddaughter: Dog! Come and help us, please.

Dog: Bow-wow! I am very-very strong!

Grandfather: Let’s pull it out! 1, 2, 3!

Narrator: They pulled and pulled it but cannot pull it out!

Turnip: I am stuck.

Dog: Oh, it's too big for us! Let's call our Cat.

Grandfather, Grandmother, Granddaughter, Dog: Cat! Come and help us, please.

Cat: I am coming!

Grandfather: Help us, please! 1, 2, 3!

Narrator : They pulled and pulled it but cannot pull it out!

Turnip: I am stuck.

Grandmother: I know! Let's call our Mouse.

Grandfather, Grandmother, Granddaughter, Cat, Dog: Mouse! Come and help us, please.

Mouse: I am a mouse,

Cat: Mew…

Grandfather: Stop talking! 1, 2, 3!

Grandfather, Grandmother, Granddaughter, Cat, Dog, Mouse: Hooray-hooray!

III. Заключний етап уроку.

1.Рефлексія.

T: Now imagine, you may become a character of a fairy tale, in what fairy tale do you want to live? Why?

P: Cinderella, because she is a princess…

2. Домашнє завдання. Оцінювання учнів.
