12. Практика учнів в читанні тексту. (While – reading activity)
Junk food and healthy food.
To be healthy people must have healthy diet. It means that they must eat food which gives them energy and nutrients. Nutrients include proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and water.
But it is not easy to keep healthy diet nowadays. Very often people are too busy with their work and study. They are always in a hurry, that’s why people eat fast food which can save their time. Fast food includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, French fries, pizza, coca-cola and other so-called junk food.
Junk food is usually tasty and attractive, but it has too much fat, salt and sugar and is very bad for people’s health.
Eating a lot of fat, salty or sweet food people may have problems with their health.
Junk food often has too much salt. Too much salt is bad for their heart.
A lot of sugar in food makes people fat and they may have dental problems.
If you want to be healthy you should stop eating junk food and eat more healthy food which includes fruit, vegetables, nuts, fish and low fat dairy products.
