Тема: Подорож до Лондону

Цілі:

 практична: познайомити учнів з деякими визначними місцями Лондона;

 виховна: виховувати інтерес до подорожування;

 розвиваюча: розвивати мовлення, мислення, увагу, пам’ять учнів. Навички сприйняття на слух тексту описового характеру.

Обладнання уроку: підручник, зошит, дошка, додатковий текст, малюнки.

Схематичний план уроку

  1. Початок уроку. Організація класу.        2 хв.
  2. Мовленнєва зарядка .                              8  хв.
  3. Аудіювання тексту „Лондон” .                                    25хв.

4. Перевірка домашнього завдання.                                                                            5 хв.

5. Пояснення д/з.            2 хв.

6 Підведення підсумків уроку, оцінювання.       2 хв.

7. Завершення уроку.                           1 хв.

Хід уроку

Етап 1: початок уроку, організація класу.

Мета: повідомлення цілей уроку.

Прийом: вступне слово вчителя.

   T:   Good morning, children!

   Рl: Good morning, teacher!

   T:   Sit down, please. Who is on duty today?

   P1: I’m on duty today.

   T:   Who is absent?

   P1: All are present.    ... is/are absent.

                           T: Thank you.

 Have you ever been to some other cities? What are you interested in when you visit another town? Do you want to go to London? Why?

 Today at the lesson we’ll listen to the text about London, make a wonderful tour to it, tell your friends about it. Let’s start our lesson.

T: Look at these pictures and try to guess some of them. Let us pronounce them:

Етап 3:Аудіювання тексту „Лондон” .

Мета: сприйняття на слух тексту описового характеру .

Прийом: робота з текстом та картинками.

Т: Do you know anything about London? Do you know the names of any places there? Look at these pictures! Do you know anything about these places?

 ( Діти розглядають  декілька картинок)

Т: What do you know about the place?

Т: Imagine that you want to visit London. What places there do you want to visit? Listen to the text "London". What places can you visit in London?

 

London

London is the place to be, with so many different things to do and places to visit. Here are a few.

Royal London

You can visit Buckingham Palace, the Queen's London home and see the changing of the Guard at 11 a. m. every day. In the Tower of London, you can see the Crown Jewels and visit the place where many famous prisoners lived and died. You can take a boat trip on the Thames to Hampton Court, where Henry VIII lived with five of his six wives. In the gardens of the palace is a famous maze, which is easy to get into but not so easy to get out of!

Rainy Days

London is one of the best places to be on a rainy day (which is quite often!),because of its museums and galleries. If you like machines, you must go the Science Museum. Next door you will find the Natural History Museum which is one of the world's great museums with its excellent collections from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Art-lovers can visit the National Gallery, the Tate Gallery or the National Portrait Gallery.

Shopping

London attracts shoppers from all over the world for the latest fashions. The main shopping area is in the West End, around Oxford Street. There are also famous street markets at Portobello Road, Camden Lock and Petticoat Lane where you can buy anything from bargain jewellery to expensive antiques.

 

 

Going Out

There is always a wide choice of plays to see at London's many theatres in the West End around Covent Garden. There are many clubs with modern music like house or jungle or more traditional music like samba. Music lovers can also find many places for top quality classical, jazz and pop music.

      A: I visited the British Museum and saw its excellent collections.

T:  I am sure everybody has done exercise 14, page 62. Give me your exercise-books I’ll check it.

Етап 5: пояснення д/з.

T: Open your day – books and write down your hometask for Wednesday.

    Ex. 17 p.62  –– read and translate the text.

    Ex. 15 p. 62 –– in pen.

Етап 6: підведення підсумків уроку, оцінювання.

T: What have we learned today at the lesson? (What did we do?)

P: Today at the lesson we listened to a very interesting text about London and worked on it.

T: Thank you for your work. You were active today. I am satisfied with your answers….                                             ... get 8,9,10,11 etc.
