Навчальна мета: працювати над темою „ Спорт в моєму житті”, формувати основні мовні та мовленнєві компетенції при розвитку навичок діалогічного та монологічного мовлення з використанням граматичних структур, тренувати усне мовлення на базі прочитаного, систематизація та активізація ЛО, сприяти формуванню вміння працювати в парах самостійно, розвивати мовленнєву компетенцію використовуючи види мовленнєвої діяльності ( читання, мовлення, аудіювання, письма).

Розвиваюча мета: розвиток  мовленнєвих  навичок та розвиток творчих здібностей учнів шляхом впровадження  інтерактивних технологій,  розвивати пам’ять, мовну здогадку, логічне мислення, злагодженість в роботі, розвивати між предметні зв’язки ( англійська мова, фізкультура, основи здоров’я). 

 Виховна мета:   виховувати любов до фізичної культури і спорту, бажання займатися спортом, збагачувати духовний світ особистості, наголошувати на необхідність вести здоровий спосіб життя, дбаючи про здоров’я дитини.

Обладнання: малюнки про спорт, види спорту, схема" Спорт", таблиці, міні-підручники, тести, картки для роботи в групах.

 

Хід уроку.

Epigraph: "A sound mind is a sound body"

(В здоровому тілі – здоровий дух)

 

1. Організаційний момент.

Teacher: Good afternoon! I am glad to see you. You look well today.

Who is on duty today?

Who is absent today?

Is the classroom ready for the lesson?

Pupil: Yes, it is. The blackboard and the floor are clean. There are some peaces of chalk and a wet duster on the blackboard.

Teacher: Thank you. And now look around and say what are we going to speak about at the lesson today?

Pupil: Are we going to speak about sport.

2. Мотивація.

Teacher: You are right. Look at the epigraph and explain the meaning of this proverb and give Ukrainian equivalents.

Pupil: If you want to be healthy you must go in for sports. Ukrainian equivalents of this proverb is "У здоровому тілі – здоровий дух"

Teacher: Now, at our lesson we'll speak about sport, we'll do a lot of works. Let's begin.

3.  Формувати мовленнєву компетенцію при розвитку навичок діалогічного мовлення. Усно мотиваційний етап.

Teacher: Answer the questions:

Do you like sports?

What sports do you go in for? Do you know the famous Ukrainian sportsmen? Is your      sport very important in your life?

What is your favourite kind of sport?

Who is your favourite sportsman?

Are you a football fan?

Who is famous in football?

What kinds of sports are very popular in our school?

When do you have your lessons of physical training?

What do you usually do at your physical training lessons?

What is your trainer's name?

Is she a good sportsman?

4. Формування мовної компетенції. Фонетична зарядка. Phonetics exercises.

Teacher: You have already known different kinds of sports. Let's recollect them. (на дошці малюнки з різними видами спорту. Учні називають зображені види спорту.)

5. Формування мовної компетенції. Активізація лексичного запасу.

Teacher: Look at the blackboard. Let's repeat words, and word-combinations and translate it.

Teacher: Let's make your sentences with every words.

 

Teacher: Look at the blackboard and say which of them are sports and which of them are games.

skiing, skating, football, rugby, boxing, rowing horseracing , basketball, golf, volley-ball, running high jump, cricket, ice hockey, field hockey, badminton, tennis, baseball.

6. Формувати мовленнєву компетенцію. Розвиток навичок усного мовлення (монологічне мовлення)

Teacher: Let's speak about sports.

Pupil 1.

 I like riding a bicycle,

I'm fond of playing chess,

My friend is good at judo,

We are keen as you can guess

On every kind of sport fur sure.

As it can even illness cure

And can for every girl and boy

Bring many moments of joy

The proverb for everybody

"A sound mind in a sound body"

Pupil 2:

Sport is fun for girls and boys.

It's much better than the toys

You can sledge and ski, and skate

And play snowballs with Kate.

You can swim and play football,

Hockey, tennis, basketball.

You can jump and you can run,

You can have a lot of fun.

Pupil 3:

I like to run out in the sun,

It's such a fun to run, to run!

Pupil  4:

 In winter we ski and skate,

Says little Kate.

In summer I like to swim,

Says little Jim.

And what do you do in spring?

In spring we play and sing.

Pupil  5:

I am running on my skies,

White and silver stand the trees.

I'm as quick as quick can be,

Try to catch me, one, two, three!

Pupil  6:

He had a racket and she had a ball,

They played tennis, little Nell and Paul.

But who won the game we couldn't tell.

"Both of us are winners", said Paul and Nell.

Pupil 7:

Sports help people to keep in good health. Because health is better than wealth.

Pupil 8:

We go in for sports because we want to be healthy, wealthy, strong, vigorous, active.

Pupil  9:

 If we go in for sports we will never use cigarettes, alcohol, drugs.

Pupil  10:

Sport is very popular in our country. Thousands of people go in for sports, because sports help people to keep in good health. The most popular kinds of sports in our countr are football, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, skiing and skating.

Pupil 11:

 We can say that sport helps to achieve success in life… Brothers Klychko go in for boxing and always take first places. Vladimir is one Olympic Champions in heavyweight in boxing.

Pupil  12:

He is the only white champion in the history of Olympic games. They are very rich persons. Brothers Klychko work hard and sport helps them to achieve success in life despite all difficulties in their life. Last time Volodymyr lost the game, but I think he lost with dignity. And next time he will win. They are traveling all around the world, work sometimes in Hollywood and in popular shows.

8. Формування мовленнєвої компетенції. Контроль навичок читання тексту.

Teacher: Let's read some details about Brothers Klychko. Let's continue our speak.

Pupil 13:

In every school pupils spend much time going in for sports. They have their physical training lessons. From time to time every school organizes competitions in different kinds of sports.

 Pupil14:

 In winter we spend much time outdoors, skating, skiing and play hockey. In summer we like to swim most of all.

Pupil 15:

 As for me, I am a football fan. I try to watch every football match on TV. I like sport very much.

Teacher: Dear pupils! Read the text about A. Shevchenko.

Text "Andriy Shevchenko" He was born in 1976, a pupil of Dinamo Kiev school of football. He scored 32 goals in National League matches. He is a champion of 1995,1996, 1997. Ukrainian cup – winner in 1996 scored 9 goals in 13 European cup matches. Scored 5 goals in 13 matches playing in Ukrainian national team. He was just 21 when specialist began calling him the most talented player in the history of Ukrainian football, comparing him to the legendary Oleg Blokhin. A brilliant football personality and at the same time/, a model team player, Andriy Shevchenko draws all of the best characteristics of a modern football forward himself. He is called a “ player of the 21^st century”.

Teacher: Look at the blackboard, please. You can see five sentences. Your task is to ask the questions which receive the following answers.

Teacher: Let’s do some grammatical exercises.

Teacher: Who knows riddles about different kinds of sport? Listen and guess! What kind of sport is this? Be attentive!

1. It is a team game. Both men and women can play it. The players have a ball. They play it with their hands. There are six players in every team. (volley-­ban)

2. It is the most popular game in Ukraine and in England. Both men and women can play it. The game lasts for 90 minutes. It has two halves. The players kick the ball and run after it. The players try to core a goal (football)

3. It is one of the most popular games in the world. It was first played in Canada. It is a team game. It is a winter game. Only men and boys can play it. 1'v1any people like to watch this game on TV. The players don't run on the field. They skate. They have clubs in their hands. (hockey)

4. This kind of sport is very beautiful. It gives the sportsmen strength, rhythm and grace. The portsmаn do some exercises or dance to the music. The sportsmen have skates and beautiful costumes on. (figure-skating)

5. This game is played everywhere in Ukraine: at schools, universities and sports clubs. It was first played in the USA. The team has 5 players. They bounce the ball on the floor up and down with one hand. They try to throw the ball into a basket. (basketball)

12.Закріплення лексичного запасу.

Teacher: Put each of these sports into one of the 3 groups given in the table. Let's play lexical game. Make up the words given in a jumbled form.
