Мета: закріпити та удосконалити вживання вивченої лексики в різних граматичних структурах; навчити розуміти поради та рекомендації лікаря, а також давати поради; тренувати учнів в усному мовленні в ситуаціях наближених до реальних подій; розширити знання учнів по темі; проконтролювати сформованість навичок аудіювання; практикувати вживання Past Indefinite/Present Indefinite Passive; розвивати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення; виховувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови;

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення
Greeting 1. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T: Today we are continuing to speak about health; The topic of today’s lesson is "Health is above wealth”. We will speak about the doctor’s recommendations in case we are ill. We’ll also practice the usage of the Passive Voice and we’ll discuss ways to stay healthy. By the end of the lesson you should be able to give advice and recommendations concerning one’s health.
But at first I want to read some thoughts and expressions of famous people about health:
To keep the body in good health is a duty, for otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.
Enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise.
Good humor is the health of the soul, sadness is its poison.
How do you understand them? Do you agree with them?
Warming-up 2. Уведення в іншомовне середовище
Health is above wealth. What does it mean to be healthy? Some people think
it just means not being sick. But being healthy means feeling good, too. It means
having energy to play and to work? Good health is a gift, it is the responsibility of the individual to maintain that good health. Now look at the blackboard and read some rules of good health. What do you think of them? Do you agree or disagree?
Listen to the poem:
A little “health” poem:
The best six doctors anywhere
and no one can deny it,
are sunshine, water, rest, and air,
exercise and diet.
These six will gladly you attend
if only you are willing;
your mind they'll ease,
your will they'll mend,
and charge you not a shilling.
What things must you do to be healthy? What is necessary to be healthy?

1. Vocabulary. Word game.
Example:
A. Have you ever had flu?
B. No, I don’t think so.
Flu, fracture, sore throat, bleeding, bad cold, chocking, shock, caugh, sneezing, running nose, headache, stomachache, backache, toothache, heart pain, earache, bump, bruze.
2. Translate the sentences
1. The weather is windy and rainy this week and my Mum has caught a cold.
2. I have a terrible headache .
3. I feel bad. I have a headache.
4. We often sneeze and cough when we catch a cold.
5. When we have a headache, a high temperature, a sore throat we call the doctor.
3. Agree or disagree with the statements using the following phrases
You are quite right. Of course not!
I agree here. I disagree.
Certainly! You shouldn’t say so.
1) You should consult a dentist when you have a toothache.
2) Sick people never stay in bed when they are ill.
3) You should gargle your throat when you have a headache.
4) A person doesn’t feel any pain in the heart when he has a heart attack.
5) You feel very well when you catch a cold.

Now it’s time to check your hometask. Your task was to prepare a short dialogue. Let’s start listening to your dialogues.

5. Lexical training
So, if we are ill, we go to the doctor. But, do you remember some medical specialities? Let’s play a game. Your task is to guess what medical speciality I will describe. If you know rise your hand.
Pediatrician – a doctor, who deals with children and their illnesses.
Oculist – a specialist in diseases of the eye.
Therapist / therapeutist – a specialist in therapy
Dentist – a person whose work in filling, cleaning, taking out teeth and fitting artificial teeth.
Surgeon – a doctor who performs medical operations.
Midwife – someone, who helps children be born.
Cardiologist – a doctor, who specialized in heart diseases.
Dermatologist - a doctor, who specialized in skin diseases.

7. Relaxation
T: Let’s play a game. Your task is to match the problem with the advice. Some of you have a sheet of paper with a problem. So, you are the patients. Another – with the advice. So, you are doctors. Let’s start. Who will be the first patient?
1. I have got a headache. You should take an aspirin
2. I have got a cough .You should take a spoonfull of a cough drops
3. I am getting fat. You should not eat so much
4. I have got a running nose. You should use some nasal spray
5. I have cut my hand . You should press a clean peace of cloth on it

8. Grammar training
T: Now, let's work a little bit with Grammar. Do you remember?
