T: Stand up! Good morning, children! Sit down! I’m glad to see you.
T: Today we are going to talk about weather in different months.
T: Let’s remember the seasons and sing a song altogether. (video “4 Seasons in a Year”) How many seasons do you know? (4) Repeat after me: 4 seasons in a year. I can name all 4. Do you wanna’ hear? Let’s get ready and say them all: winter, spring, summer and fall.
Let’s recite the poem about seasons and colours: Spring is green, Summer is bright, Autumn is yellow, Winter is white.
Look outside and tell what is the weather like today. (схема) - What season is it now? - It is autumn now. - Do you like autumn? - I like autumn. - What are autumn months? -Autumn months are September, October, November. - What is the weather like today? - It is cold. It is cloudy. It is windy. - Do you like todays weather? - I like todays weather. |

T: Open your textbook on p.12 ex.1. Look at the pictures and tell the months. What month is the first? (January) Let’s sing a song (video “Months of the Year”)

Open your copy books and write down today’s date and classwork. Write the sentences.
Look at the words on the blackboard, find the odd word: Winter, spring, July, autumn Rainy, windy, cold, green Warm, November, September, April Jump, hot, swim, play
Pupils name the months while the one or two are missing and they have to find them.
Let’s imagine a dance in autumn. What are the leaves and people doing? (video “Autumn Leaves are Falling Down”)
T: The next is ex.3 p.12. Read the text in groups. Then name the main words of the seasons. After this do the tasks after the texts.
T: So what is the weather like in every season? Let’s make a story. There are 4 seasons in a year:… The summer months are… The autumn months are… The winter months are… The spring months are… 8.
