Цілі: активізувати та систематизувати лексику з теми» Відпочинок і дозвілля. Музичні фестивалі»;

розвивати навички усного мовлення, парної роботи, читання, логічне мислення, уважність;

виховувати культуру мовної поведінки.

                                                       Хід уроку.

Lead in: Good morning, students.  Summer, surfing the Net, playing computer games. There is something common in all this words. Can you say all these words in one word? ( slide1). You are right. It is free time, so the topic of our lesson is “ Free time”. Give the synonyms of the word free time (spare time or leisure time).

Warm up:

There are some English proverbs so you task is to translate them (slide2,3).

Vocabulary:

Look at the screen. What kind of activities do you see? (group work) One by one each team name the activities. You know more activities. Make a list of activities you can do in you free time. Now check you list. Compose the sentences with the phrases  you see on the screen.(slide 4).

British children like to do the following activities in their free time. They are the same we do. Do you remember the rules of using the verbs do, go, play(slide5,6).Complete the table.(group work)

The next task is to complete the verbs with the words(slide7,8),(group work).

Grammar:

And now complete the text with the phrases from the table. Don’t forget about grammar rules (present simple), (slide 9),(group work).

Among the list of free time activities there is one I want to speak about-it is music. What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Reading:

Have you ever been to а festival? I propose you to read the text about one music festival. Read the text quickly. What is it about? Choose the correct answer. Now read the text again and answer the questions (slide10), (group work).

Communication:

Imagine it’s Friday evening and Simon is calling his classmate Ann. But there is a problem with her phone. Your task is to complete their conversation(slide11).

Use the dialogue as a model and compose your own.
