WEB – QUEST « AFTER SCHOOL»

 

Objectives:

Practical:

–                  to revised and activate pupils` vocabulary related to the topic; – to develop all types of pupils` language skills;

Developing:

–                  to     develop       attention      and    creative       thinking       of       pupils;

–                  to inspirit students to express own opinions.

  

PROCEDURE

I.WARMING-UP

T: Good morning, pupils. Nice to see you again. I think you are OK and get ready for the lesson.

Game “Let`s boast“.

T: It was Thursday yesterday. I went to the work. What did you do yesterday? P1: You went to the school yesterday, but I visited my Granny . What about you?

P2 ,P3 ….

T: It is very nice. And now we are taking a smile for showing a mood each of them.

T: Thank you .Well done. I want you to guess the topic of our lesson.

Look at these pictures and say what the topic of our lesson is.

T: Yes, you are quite right.

We are going to speak about after-school activities Brain-storming:

T: So! What can you do after the classes?

Hello! I am keen on reading. I have got a big library at home. I prefer historical novels. Sometimes I go to the cinema with my friends and watch screen versions of our favourite books. Then we share ideas about acting in the café.

I am crazy about sport. I am good at playing basketball. So, I joined school basketball team. We try out different tricks at our classes. Besides, I ride a bike in the park on Saturdays, it`s a real fun.

 Christina

I am not sporty. I`m fond of playing boarding games. I am good at chess and droughts. But my favourite game is “Snakes and Ladders”. It is an old Indian game. My father brought it from India after his trip there.

Jasmine

My friends say that I am musical and romantic. I go to Music school. I am good at singing and playing the piano. I practice three hours a day. I always take part in school concerts. I want to be a famous singer in future.

Для цього виділіть гіперпосилання, викличте контекстне меню, натиснувши праву клавішу миші і виберіть команду Копіювати.

6.          Закрийте вікно програми Word.

Для цього натисніть на кнопку Закрити 

 

7.          Запустіть на виконання браузер Google Chrome .  

8.          Створіть нову вкладку в браузері. Для цього натисніть на елемент Нова вкладка

9.          Перейдіть за посиланням, що отримали в результаті копіювання. 

Для цього скопіюйте його в рядок адреси та натисніть клавішу Enter.

10.      Розгадайте кросворд онлайн. 

Завдання: дайте англійський еквівалент слів, які запропоновані в кросворді.

11.      Запишіть відповіді паралельно до бланку відповідей.

12.      Знайдіть в правому нижньому куті 2 білих квадратика та зробіть їх активними. 

Для цього наведіть курсор миші на квадратики та натисніть ліву клавішу миші.

13.      У вікні «Розгадуємо», що з’явилося, скопіюйте посилання.

Для цього виділіть гіперпосилання, викличте контекстне меню, натиснувши праву клавішу миші і виберіть команду Копіювати.

 

14.      Створіть нову вкладку в браузері. Для цього натисніть на елемент Нова вкладка

15.      Перейдіть за посиланням, що отримали в результаті копіювання. 

Для цього скопіюйте його в рядок адреси та натисніть клавішу Enter.

16.      Створіть малюнок на тему «What do you do after school?».

17.      Write 5-7 sentences about your activity. (Результат зафіксуйте до бланку відповідей)

18.      З результатом роботи ознайомте вчителя та однокласників.

19.      Закрийте вікно браузера Google Chrome.
