Task I: Creating a Family Tree

   Students can draw their family tree on paper or create digital family trees. They can use online tools like Canva to create interactive family trees. As additional task they can compare their family structures with family structures in different cultures.

Or

Student can create a family tree for their future family, then present it to the class.

TASK 2 Role- play

Students role-play situations like family vacations, celebrations, or arguments.

Or

  Cultural Exchange: Teacher pairs students from different cultural backgrounds to practice dialogues about their family traditions.

TASK 3: Creating Comics (A 2)

Teacher asks students to create a comic about a family argument and how it was resolved. Teacher encourages students to create a short comic book series about their family.

Or

Student create comic using internet platforms.

TASK 4: "My Ideal Family" Project

• Family Values: students create a poster or presentation about the values that are important in their ideal family.
  • Family Rules: students create a set of family rules for their ideal family.
  • Family Time Capsule: students create a time capsule filled with items that represent their ideal family.
  • Family Recipes: students share their favorite family recipes and write them down in English.
    • Family Tree Research: students research their family history and create a presentation.

• Family Songs: Write or sing songs about family.

TASK 5 (A1/A2 level) Family Tree Game

 Teacher create a large family tree on the board and have students take turns adding family members.

TASK 6 Family Interviews (B1/ B2 LEVEL)

 Students interview a family member and write a short biography about them.

Students research different family traditions around the world and present their findings.

Students create a family business and develop a business plan.
