Procedure of the lesson
T: We all like reading books, newspapers and magazines, watching TV, listening to music and resting, but most of all we all like eating. Do you like to eat? Of course you do. So, we'll talk about “Food. Meals. Preparing Meals” today.
By the end of the lesson you should be able to:
T: During this lesson you'll work in teams. You are divided into two teams and you are to take part in a competition. For every correct answer you'll get some points. The team which answers the best today will win the competition.
Now, dear pupils, meet our guests! They will serve on a jury today. They will be our judges. So, let's start.

T: Most people can prepare a simple salad without written directions. But many foods are prepared according to a recipe. You can find lots of recipes in different cookery books and magazines. A number of words given in exercise 1 on page 70 are often used while having breakfast.
