Наслідки природніх катастроф

Розробка конспекту уроку з англійської мови для 10 класу за темою «Наслідки стихійних лих» з елементами сінгапурської методики.

Тема: Наслідки стихійних лих.

Мета: освітня:повторити лексику за темою «Природні катастрофи»,тренувати навички аудіювання та читання за темою, тренувати навички письма відповідно теми (стаття до газети);

розвиваюча: розвивати фонематичний слух,навички письма,мовленнєву здогадку.

виховна: виховувати потребу  відповідального  ставлення до природи, доброзичливе ставлення один до одного,вміння працювати в команді.

Хід уроку

І.Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного спілкування.

1.Привітання. Greeting.

-Hello, dear students. I am glad to see you. How are you?  I hope,  you are fine. Let’s start our lesson.

2. Розминка. Warming up. “Take Off –Touch Down”(Ставиться будь-яке  питання,якщо відповідь так,учні встають,якщо ні,сідають )

-Was it frosty yesterday?(yes)

-Was it flood two days ago? (no)

-Was it snowing the whole day yesterday?(yes)

-Was it snowstorm yesterday?(no)….

3.Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. Theme and aims.

-The theme of our lesson is “Consequences of natural disasters”. We  are going to repeat the words about the topic “Natural Disasters”, read and listen to the news report about  the  natural disasters and write your own reports according to the theme. We are going to work in the teams. We can help each other.

II. Основна частина уроку.

1. Активізація лексики. Vocabulary work.

a)Game “Tick-Tac-Toe” (Хрестики-нолики).

-Every team has 5 minutes to make up the sentences from the table. You discuss them in the group and then present your work to the class

b) “ Round Table”

Game “Vowels”

I give each group the line with vowel sounds. You  must write as many words as you can about the topic Natural Disasters. You will write on one sheet of paper, give it from one to another. For this work we have seven minutes.

(examples:disaster,drought,typhone,eruption,fire,tsunami,tornado,damage,famine,

hurricane,landslide)

( to check this task teacher can ask participants from different groups to read pairs of  words)

3.Reading  and Listening. Complete the news report with the words below. Listen and check.

4.Writing.

-You’ve read the article and now each group must write the own article about natural disaster. I give you data and we ‘ll write the report using reading as an example.

-Time is over, let’s present your articles.

III. Заключна частина уроку.

1. Summarizing.

• What new information did you know?
• Was it difficult to work in a  group?
• What natural disasters happened in Ukraine?
• What have we to do to protect our nature?

2.Hometask.

-write the news report about natural disasters in our city.
