Тема: Спорт

 Objectives:

• To tell about sport more
• to practice using vocabulary
• to encourage learning foreign languages

                                              Хід заходу:

1. Привітання

Hello everybody! I’m glad to see you. Today we will have a nice activity. We will speak about sport, famous sportsmen and do different tasks.

 So, we have 2 teams. The name of the first is “The best”, and another is “The first”. For each task each team will get 4 points.

So, let’s start!

Task 1

1. I will tell you the description of sports and you are to guess what I am speaking about.

1. A sport you do in the water. (Swimming)
2. Play hockey on ice.(Ice hockey)
3. A sport with two wheels.(Road biking)
4. You are in a boat and use a sail to direct the sail.(Sailing)
5. you play it on a table with wooden bats and a small plastic ball.(Table tennis)
6. You lift a bar with weights.(Weight lifting)
7. You play with these with a ball. They include tennis, basketball and football.(Ball games)

Task 2

Role-play

1. Imagine you are a famous sportsman (Volodimyr Klichko, Andriy Shevchenko, Yana Klochkova). Tell us about yourself, your life and career. Your opponents are to guess who you are.

      Task 3

Make up your sentences:

1. We/ basketball/play/usually/weekends/on.(We usuall play basketball on weekends).

Task 4

You will have sport names and your task is to write the equipment you need to play these sports:

Boxing – (Boxing gloves, boxing heard guard, boxing boot, boxing track suit)

Hockey- (Hockey stick, hockey pads, hockey ball, hockey gloves)

Cricket – (cricket ball, stumps, cricket pads, helmet)

Badminton-  (rockets, badminton ball and net).

Football – ( football ball, football field, football boot ).
