Software or programs are a set of instructions that the computer uses to change your information. They are written in computer language and they allow you to give the computer commands, which it will then carry out. There are different programs to do different things.

Microsoft Word - This programme helps you to work with text. You can type text and put it into all different shapes and forms. Microsoft Excel - This programme works with numbers. It can do simple and complicated calculations. It is used for budgeting, accounting, and statistics. Microsoft Powerpoint - This programme helps to create presentation and integrated reports or project.

Microsoft Access - It is a database programme keeping lots and lots of information. It organized and stores the information , which you can recall in different forms. Microsoft Publisher - This programme help to create publishing, documents, like newspaper and magazines.

The most common internet browsers. Internet Explorer. Netscape Navigator Mozilla Firefox. Chrome. Yandex. Opera. These programs help you to use the Internet and search for, share and print important information.

There are hundreds of programs that you can use to do just about anything.
