Mother’s Day
(pre-intermediate level)
Mother’s Day
Pupil 1: Hello, everybody! You a welcome to our party! We have invited you to celebrate Mother’s Day! You know that on the second Sunday we have
Pupil 2: Our dear mothers, guests and teachers! Today is not an ordinary day; it is Mother’s Day, day of our beloved mothers.
Pupil 1:
To each of us out mother is the dearest person. She is with us when we are small children and she is always ready to help then we become older!
Pupil 2: We wish you good health, happiness and love.
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old;
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me;
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for hear eyes, with love-light shining;
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be
Put them together, they spell “MOTHER”
A word that means the world to me.
Pupil 1:
Mother is the name of all things which are dearest to people. Nothing can be greater for you than your mother. Please, show your mothers how great your love is. It will be the best present to them.
In the happy month of May
Little children like to play,
They all dance and sing and say,
Welcome, welcome Mother’s Day.
I love my dear Mummy,
I love her very much!
And do you love your Mummy?
Of course, and very much!
The sun is so bright today,
Because it’s Mother’s day.
The sky is blue today,
Because it’s Mother’s Day.
And we are now so gay,
Because it’s Mother’s Day.
A wonderful mother
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And he molded her heart of pure gold.
In her eyes he placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And he gave that dear mother to me.
Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
Hundreds of shells on the shore together;
Hundreds of birds that go singing by;
Hundreds of bees in the sunny weather.
Hundreds of lambs in the purple clover;
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over.
Who loves mummy best?
Who loves mummy best?
“I,” says Fred.
“I give her flowers,
White, yellow, and red.”
Who loves Mummy best?
“I,” says May.
“With my dear Mummy,
I always play.”
Who loves Mummy best?
“I,” says Joe,
“She asks to help her,
And I always do so.”
A song
If you are happy and you know it,
Clap your hands (one, two,) (3times)
And your face will surely show it,
If you are happy and you know it,
Clap your hands! (One, two)
If you are happy and you know it,
Stamp your feet, say ‘Hurray”
Pupil 2:

K.: my dear friends, I am the happiest K. in the world. I have so many friends. Thank you, Kid. Thank you, everyone, for your presents, for your smiles. Let’s sing a song about happiness, friendship.
Crocodile Hena’s song
Let pedestrians hurry
Down the streets full of rain pool,
Let them awkwardly pick out of their way,
All the same they’ll not find it-
How can I be so happy on a gloomy and cool rainy day?
I am playing my garmoshka
For all passers-by to hear
It’s a pity we’ve a birthday
Only once a year.
Then a wizard comes flying in a blue helicopter,
He will show me a film and no pay,
Several hundred sweet ices
He will give me and wish me
Many happy returns of the day.
A Blue Train
Slowly the minutes go far away
And you won’t meet them any more
Though the past was before,
One can often say
Better life is future, not before.
Faster along the way
Goes a blue train ahead
Up to horizon spreads
Railway like a cloth
We know for sure a day
Will be happy again
Soon it will come of course
Faster goes our train.
Our train is rocking going very fast
Our train is picking up speed
It’s a pity that the day has gone at last
Let it last as long as well we need.
A friendship song
Let very good fellow
Now join to a song
Viva la company
Success to each other
And pass it along
Viva la company.
Viva la (3) amor (2)
Viva la amor (2)
Viva la company
A friend to the left and a friend to the right
Viva la company
In love and good fellowship
Let us unite
Viva la company.
Pupil 1:
Всі квіти вам складаємо до ніг.
Хай ваші скроні не сріблить завчасно сніг.
Pupil 2:
Long live our beloved and kind mothers!
Glory and honor to our mothers!
Together (children)
Мамо рідна, хай святиться ваше ім’я,
Хай вас обминають печаль та журба
І многими будуть щасливі літа!
