Урок №3

Тема:  Ми вивчаємо англійську.

Мета:  навчальна: повторити й активізувати ЛО теми; навчати розповідати про майбутні події, використовуючи конструкцію to be going to;

розвивальна: практикувати учнів у діалогічному мовленні, застосовуючи конструкції  good at I enjoy/prefer/like; продовжувати формувати навички аудіювання;

виховна: виховувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Обладнання: Підручник, робочий зошит, картки для індивідуальної роботи.

ХІД УРОКУ

І. ПІДГОТОВКА ДО СПРИЙНЯТТЯ ІНШОМОВНОГО МОВЛЕННЯ

Greeting 1. Привітання.

Т: Hello, children! I'm very glad to see you!

Ps: We are glad to see you, too!

Aim 2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Т: Today we'll speak about the topics we are going to learn this year at our lessons, about different activities we have during our English lessons. You'll remember how to tell what activities you are good at/en joy/like/prefer. We'll also listen to the children talking about different ways of studying the foreign language. But first let's check on your homework.

 3. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

1) РЗ, впр. 2 (с. 2).

Т: То do exercise 2 you had to complete the words with the vowels. You also had to make up sentences with these words. Can you spell the words, please? And now read the sentences.

Учні називають слова вправи по буквах, потім читають речення, які вони доповнили.

2) РЗ, впр. З (с. 2).

Т: What words have you written into the anagram? What was the «secret» word? Учні називають слова, які вони записали до анаграми, а також «таємниче» слово, яке вони визначили.

Warming up 4. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Вивчення пісні «Не Speaks English» (на мотив відомої пісні «Good Night, Ladies»). Учні отримують картки для індивідуальної роботи (HOj). Завдання учнів — заповнити пропуски в тексті пісні правильною формою дієслова to speak. Учні називають форми дієслова to speak, які вони вставили, після чого хором співають пісню.

 Complete the song with the correct form of the verb *to speak*.

Speaking 1. Розвиток умінь мовлення.

1) Впр. 1 (с. 8).

Т: Let's remember what topics we studied last year? Which of them did you like most? Which one didn't you like very much? What topics would you like to have this year?

Учні ланцюжком відповідають на запитання.

Т: On page 8 there is a list of the topics we are going to learn this year and the pic¬tures which illustrate them. Match the names of the topics with the pictures. Which picture illustrates the topic «Summer Holidays»/«Family and Friends»/«Food and Drinks» etc.? Point to this picture.

2) Впр. 2 (c. 8).

Учні працюють у парах. Вони ставлять один одному запитання за малюнками впр. 1 (с. 8), використовуючи конструкцію to be going to та мовленнєвий зразок впр. 2 (с. 8).

Т: What can we do to know English better?

Учитель пише на дошці слова books, magazines, tapes, video films, computer, compu¬ter games, Internet, letters, e-mails, on-line communication SMS-messages. T: Look at the blackboard. Which of these things can help us in the English language learning? Why?

Which of these things do you ever use for improving your English? Which of them would you like to use in your leaning?

2) Етап аудіювання.

T: Now listen to the text about different ways of learning English and fill the table.

WAYS ТО LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Alice is from France. She thinks that the most interesting way of learning the language is by watching movies or TV programmes in English, or with the help of on-line com¬munication.

Jovannie is Italian. He likes reading a lot, so he always has an English book in his bag and tries to read it every spare moment: on a bus, in a queue, while waiting for a friend. 

For this reading he usually chooses something easy, but exciting, with explanations of difficult words and idiomatic expressions and a vocabulary in the end of the book. The most boring, but necessary thing — word cramming — can also be a fun, thinks Jackie Lee from China. He sticks little pieces of paper with English words all over his place. On things he writes what the thing is: thus on a mirror he sticks a paper with the word «mirror», on the door handle he has «door handle». It looks a bit foolish, but it can work. If you see the same word several times an hour you'll soon remember it. Zlata lives in Poland. She always has her Walkman with her. But instead of music she prefers listening to English stories. «It's a fun», she says, «such way of learning can never be boring».

It's up to a person to decide how to learn. The only thing that is necessary is a strong desire to master a language.

Учитель роздає дітям картки для індивідуальної роботи. Потім двічі читає текст. Учні слухають і заповнюють таблицю.

3. Активізація мовленнєвих зразків.

Т: We spoke about different out-of-class activities of learning English. Now let's speak about class activities. Look at the pictures of exercise 3 on page 9 of your textbook and answer my questions. Where are the children? What lesson do you think it is? What are the children doing? Are they reading/writing/talking/singing/playing classroom games/doing exercises/discussing etc.?

2) Впр. З (c. 9).

Учні працюють у групах. Вони ставлять один одному запитання за малюнками на с. 9, спираючись на мовленнєвий зразок впр. З (с. 9). Ставлячи запитання та відповідаючи на них, учні застосовують конструкції Гт good at, I enjoy/prefer/ like.

8) Впр. 4 (c. 9).

Учні працюють у парах. Вони ставлять один одному запитання за зразком вправи та заповнюють таблицю.

4. Розвиток умінь письма. Впр. 5 (с. 9). Учні в зошитах записують відповіді на запитання, наведені у вправі. Наприкінці уроку вчитель збирає зошити і перевіряє правильність виконання завдання.

III. ЗАКЛЮЧНА ЧАСТИНА УРОКУ

Homework 1. Домашнє завдання.

Summarizing 2. Підведення підсумків уроку.

Бесіда в режимі T-P1-P2-P3.

T: Today we spoke about different classroom and out-of-class activities in learning Eng-lish. Which of them did you like? Which one didn't you like very much? Which one of the out-of-class activities you'd like to try in learning English?

Учні по черзі відповідають на запитання вчителя.

Т: Now I'd like two of you go to the blackboard; one of you should write down as many classroom activities as he/she can remember, and the other pupil should write down as many out-of-class activities as he/she can remember.
