Виходять ведучі (під музику)

Ведучий 1: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We invited all of you to celebrate one of the most wonderful holidays.

Ведучий 2: A holiday which is devoted to love.

Ведучий 1: So let's start our show.

Ведучий 2: In all English-speaking countries, 14^lh of February is a special day for people in love. It's not a holiday, but it is a very good day for flower shops, chocolate shops and card shops. Boys send cards to their girlfriends, and girls sent cards to their boyfriends. But often they don't write their names in the cards. The name of the person sending the card, traditi6nally, is a secret.

Ведучий 1: The receiver is supposed to try and guess who send it. The more cards you receive the more popular you are. Nowadays many Valentine cards have jokes. They start off with a romantic message, which is then turned into something very funny.

Ведучий 2: Only imagine that you've had such Valentine card:

"Please, don't be my Valentine —

you look just like a clown.

Your feet are pointing backwards

and head's on up side down.

Ведучий 1: Women send cards to men accusing them of lying, playing around with girls or playing dishonestly with women's emotions.

Ведучий 2: Surely, this holiday didn't always exist in the history of holidays, but the feeling of love was in the hearts of all people throughout the whole history of mankind.

Ведучий 1: Now, we are going to show you how the people from all over the world expressed their attitude to love in different periods of the history.

Ведучий 2: Let's start from the very beginning.

Сцена 1

(Група з шести чоловік у костюмах первісних людей виконує ритуальний танець. Через деякий час на сцену виходять хлопчик і дівчинка — "дикуни " і також почи­нають танцювати, час від часу видаючи нечленороздільні звуки, які замінюють мову. Здається, що хлопчик - "ди­кун " освідчується дівчинці в коханні, але оскільки глядачі не можуть його зрозуміти, то їм допомагає пере­кладач.)

 

Перекладач (за кадром)

Roses are red, violets are blue,

Sugar is sweet and I love you.

I want to be near you all the time,

Wake up on this special day,

And read these words from me.

(Епізод закінчується. Актори виходять. На сцені з'являються ведучі.)

 

Ведучий 1: You see that different people expressed their love in different ways. The next episode we are going to represent you move us to the Ancient Greece.

Ведучий 2: We ask you to participate in our competitions. Let's start.

Ведучий 1: We need 10 participants.

Ведучий 2: Now you receive the halves of hearts with the names of famous persons. You are to match pairs.

Ведучий 1: For example Cinderella and Prince. You see Cinderella in one half and you should find Prince in the other one.

 (Adam &  Eve, Prince Charles & Lady Di, Rhett Butler & Scarlet O’Hara,  Napoleon & Josephine, Beast & Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, Odissey & Penelope, Tristan & Isolde)

Ведучий 1: Are you ready? Name the pairs, please.

Ведучий 2: And now you are welcome to see what was the declarations in Ancient Greece.

Сцена 2

     (Учениці у грецьких костюмах танцюють сиртакі, потім зображають статуї; у центрі знаходиться "камінь "— дівчина, накрита простирадлом.)

(Заходить Пігмаліон — грецький скульптор. Він підхо­дить до каменя.)

 Pigmalion: I'm Pigmalion. I've made all these statues. They are all beautiful but any of them doesn't bring me joy and happiness.

They are not alive. They are just stones.

Statues (together): Stones.

Pigmalion: I'm so lonely.

Statues (together): Lonely.

Pigmalion: I have no one to talk to. Just my own echo.

Statues (together): Echo.

Pigmalion: I decided to make a new statue, to create a real masterpiece. I'll inspire a life in it. My love will make her alive.

Statues (together): Alive.

(Пігмаліон стоїть біля каменя, а фігури обступають його так, що глядачі не бачать, як він робить чергову свою статую. Фігури танцюють, поступово (зверху вниз) опускаючись на підлогу, завмираючи в різних позах. Глядачам відкривається прекрасна статуя. Пігмаліон хоче її оживити.)

Pigmalion:

Roses are red, violets are blue,

(Статуя оживає, греки, танцюючи, виходять, на сцені з'являються ведучі.)

Ведучий 2: You see, how powerful the feeling of love is. It can even make a stone alive.

Ведучий 1: Before we move to the East and get acquainted with Oriental countries, we'll have our competition again.

Ведучий 2: Put these letters in correct order to find out a name of the most famous lover. (O, E, R, M, O – Romeo)

Ведучий 1: Ready? Go!!!

 

Ведучий 1: The attitude to love in Oriental countries was really harsh. In fact, girls had to marry under the pressure of their parents.

Ведучий 2: But, surely, love won and now you will see how it was.

Сцена 3

(Дія починається танцем східних дівчат, під час якого виходить принцеса разом з тигром і сідає на ослінчик. Заходить її батько.)

Father: Jasmin, Jasmin.

(Тигр нападає на батька і біля якого розкидані шмаття одягу.)

Radja, come down, come down. (Бачить лахміття.) So, this is why prince Akhmed went out.

Jasmin: Oh, father, Radja was just playing with him, weren't you, Radja, you were just playing with that overdressed, self-observed prince Akhmed, weren't you?

Father: Dearest, you've got to stop rejecting the law says. Jasmin, you must be married to a prince, by your next birthday.

Jasmin: The law is wrong...

Father: You've only got 3 more days.

Jasmin: Father, I hate being forced into it. If I do marry, I want it to be for love.

Father: Jasmin, it's not only this law, I just want to make sure you are taken care of, provided for.

Jasmin: Please, try to understand. I've never done a thing on my own. I've never had any real friend.

Radja гарчить.

Jasmin: Except you, Radja. I've never been outside the palace walls.

Father: But Jasmin, you are a princess.

Jasmin: Then may be I don't want to be a princess any more.

Father Oh, Allah, forbid. You should have any daughters.

 

(Принцеса повертається до танцівниць, а її батько у гніві покидає сцену. Виходять ведучі.)

Ведучий 2: So, you can imagine now how it was difficult for young people in Oriental countries to be together.

Ведучий 1: And we are having a task again.

Ведучий 2: You are welcome to complete this Valentine's message.

Love is like a little flower.

It needs the sun and rаіn

In all kinds of weather,

Let's stay _____ .

Don't say goodbye ________ .

 

Ведучий 1: Read your variant, please.

(Підчас конкурсу гості  придумують закінчення вірша.)

Ведучий 2: Now we are moving to the epoque of knights.

Сцена 4

(Під звуки піснi "Only you " виходить лицар з гітарою під балконом своєї дами він стає на коліна і співає.)

(Коли пісня закінчується, лицар піднімається з колін і виголошує промову, звертаючись до дами.)

Knight: Oh my love is like a red, red rose

That's newly sprung in June;

O, my luve is like the melodie

That's sweetly play'd in tune.

(Дама усміхається.)

Knight:

She fills my heart.

She fills my heart with

Very special things —

With angel songs.

Lady: We may be oceans away

You feel my love. I hear what you say.

 

Knight: Do you love me or may I hope that one day you'll tell me that you love me?

Lady: Believe my word. I give you this hope. (Кидає йому хустку.)

Knight: I'd do everything to get you into my world.

(Актори виходять під музику. На сцені з 'являються ведучі.)

Ведучий 1: Кохання-це оспіване людиною почуття, що зводить з розуму закоханих і веде до раю, мрій і блаженства. Любов окрилює людину, дає силу, наснагу в житті, ніби воскрешає із небуття.

Ведучий 2: Так уже склалося, що почуття кохання часто зароджується і передається під час танцю, а королем танцю вважається вальс. Хай закружляє вальс і нагадає нам усім про коханих.

(Пара виконує вальс.)

Ведучий 1: Кохання здатне творити дива. Кохайте і будьте коханими! А в знак шани і любові прийміть від нас ці сердечка.

(Учні запрошують гостей до вальсу.)
