1. Greeting and Aim

Мета: організація класу, введення учнів в іншомовне середовище

Методичний прийом: бесіда

T.: Good morning, pupils! Are you all right? Is everybody present? I hope you are all ready for your English lesson. Today we are continuing to speak about doing chores and to work on forming your skills of reading, listening and speaking. By the end of the lesson you we’ll write a small picture dictation. Let’s start.

1. Warming up

Мета: введення учнів в іншомовне середовище 

Прийом: робота в групах

T.: Well! Now we have a work in groups of four. Do you see a chart on the board? Use this chart to ask your partners about their likes and dislikes. Then say the results.

– Do you like doing the washing up? - Do you like reading? - Yes/No.

— Masha likes cooking. Sasha doesn’t like doing the washing up.

2. Writing

Мета: контроль засвоєння нових ЛО

Прийом: написання диктанту з опорою на картинки

T.: Are you ready to write the dictation? Put aside your books and take a sheet of paper, please! Look at the picture I show you and write the activity in English.

3. Listening and Speaking

Мета: вдосконалювати навички аудіювання; вдосконалювати навички осмислення прочитаного; розвивати мовну реакцію

Прийом: прослуховування учнями тексту

T.: Well done! Let’s go over the next activity. Listen to Paul talking about how the members of his family share the jobs in the house. Then complete the chart on the board with the jobs each of them does. After that speak using this chart.

4. Reading

Мета: вдосконалення навичок читання

Прийом: читання тексту, заповнення пропусків

T.: Put away your books. All of you have got worksheets. You are to read the text and then you will read sentence by sentence in chain. .

5. Speaking

Мета: розвивати навички усного мовлення

Прийом: гра «Інтерв’ю»

T.: Very well! Now I think we can have a talk about your families and chores. You can answer my questions.

1. What do you do the best?

2. What does your mother (sister) do the best?

6. Relaxation

Мета: надати учням можливість відпочити

Прийом: хоровий спів

T.: You are working very hard, so you can relax now. Open your books at page 51 ex. 8, there is a song we will listen and sing.

7. Summary

Мета: підбиття підсумків уроку

Прийом: бесіда, відповіді на запитання

T.: There is the bell in five minutes. Let’s summarize. 1. Who does most of the household chores in your family? 2. Do you like any of household chores? 3. How often do you help you parents? 4. How much time does it take you to clean your room (do the washing up, cook the breakfast, etc.)?

Homework

T.: That’s all for now. Your homework is to write a short paragraph about household chores in your family and do ex. 7, p. 50 in written form. Good bye!
