“Sport In Our Life” for the 7-th form
Objectives: - to develop reading, writing and communicative skills using active
lexical units of the topic;
- to practice in listening comprehension;
- to develop a positive attitude to sport and physical exercises;

2. Grammar Practice

– These are the texts about four kinds of sports. The text for the first group is about swimming and jogging and the text for the second group is about boating and walking. You have to read them, fill in the table below and answer the questions.

Swimming is very good for you. You use all 600 muscles when you swim it is very relaxing. Young and old people can swim. All you need is a swimming costume and pool or sea. Some people also use goggles (special glasses to protect your eyes from water, wind and dust).
Jogging is slow running. You need good trainers. It is good for you leg muscles. You don’t need a special place. You can jog in the park.
