Брейн-ринг на англійській мові на тему "We love sport" можна проводити під час проведення Тижня англійської мови або як останній урок по темі Спорт. Розробка містить презентацію та посилання на фізкультхвилинку.
Тема: Brain – ring “We love sport”
Цілі: проконтролювати ступінь засвоєння знань, сформованості навчальних умінь та навичок учнів з теми «Спорт»; узагальнити граматичний матеріал; розвивати навички розуміння прочитаного, навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення; сприяти розвитку логічного мислення учнів; виховувати пізнавальний інтерес до вивчення англійської мови, старанність і повагу один до одного; розширювати кругозір учнів.
Обладнання: картки, ілюстрації, проектор, ноутбук, дошка, презентація, ножиці, клей.
Хід проведення
- Today we have Brain – ring “We love sport”. (Слайд 1)
Let’s divide into two teams.

І.─ We'll begin our competition with a poem about sport but you have to make it.

Sport is fun for girls and boys,
It's much better than the toys.

Hockey, tennis, basketball.

You can have a lot of fun!
─ Do you have a lot of fun going in for sport?
Imagine you have your sport bag on the desk now. What will you put into it?
II. ─ The next task is to divide words into three columns. Which team will do it the quickest will be the first.

ІІІ. Now try to guess what kind of sport I mean. (Слайд 3)
1. The game can be played by two or four players. The players must change positions after each game. The ball must touch the table on both sides of the net each time it is hit. (Tennis)
2. Each team must have eleven players. The two teams should wear different colours. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to play the ball with his hands or arms. (Football)
3. A game played by two teams of 6 players each that is played on an ice field. (Hockey)
4. It is a team game. Both men and women can play it. The players have a ball. They play it with their hands. There are six players in every team. (Volleyball)
5. The team has 5 players. They bounce the ball on the floor up and down with one hand. They try to throw the ball into the basket. (Basketball)
6. This kind of sport is very beautiful. The sportsmen do some exercises or dance to the music. The sportsmen have skates and beautiful costumes on. (Figure-skating)
