My Favourite Kind of Music

Hello! My name is Alex. I am the pupil of the eighth form. The kind of music that is my favourite is rock music. I can relax very easily when I hear this music. There are two genres of rock: hard rock and soft rock. I listen to both of them but which one I choose depends on how I feel. I listen to hard rock when I am in low spirit. I look like a fan of metal: I have long hair and I always wear black clothes. I listen to many different bands. I think that the foreign music is better somehow. My favourite bands are: the Beatles, The Cranberries, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Deep Purple. I began listening to this music seven years ago. I have learned to listen this music from my older brother. When I was very young my brother played this music and I had to listen. I did not like it at that time but later I started to like it. I believe that it is the best kind of music, it definitely better than, for example: techno, hip-hop and disco. I hate those kinds of music and do not like the people who listen to such music. However, there are some disco songs which I like but there are only few of them. My parents also like rock music but they prefer older bands. The modern music is sometimes too loud for them. My favourite song is ‘Nothing else matters’ by Metallica.
