Тема. Різноманітні рецепти приготування їжі

Мета:

·       удосконалювати навички читання та усного мовлення з опорою на лексико-граматичні структури;

·       навчити учнів виконувати трансформаційні завдання;

·       виховувати вміння працювати в парах, давати суб’єктивну та об’єктивну оцінку явищам навколишнього середовища;

·       розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів, елементи аналізу та самоаналізу.

III. Основна частина уроку

a) Перевірка домашнього завдання. Впр. 46, с. 36

Which of these utensils do you have in your kitchen?

What kind of dishes do you cook with each of them?

Are there other utensils that you use? What are they?

b) Впр. 1, 2, c. 36 — the following words are often used in different recipes, match the words with pictures.

·       beat                  •   slice

·       peel                   •   mix

·       chop                  •   squeeze

·       pour                  •   melt

·       grate                 •   stir

Look through the recipes and listen (tapescript 11, p. 185-186), guess what the two girls want to cook. What is it? What can they make?

Peel and slice the onion and the carrots.

Put the dish in the oven until the cheese is brown.

Peel and slice the potatoes.

Fry the meat, onion and the carrots until the meat is brown and the onions are soft.

Cover the potato with grated cheese.

Add a bit if water, salt, pepper and a few herbs.

Put the potatoes in a saucepan with some water and a bit of salt. Boil them for 20 minutes and then mash.

Spread the mashed potato over the meat and vegetable mixture.

Put the meat and vegetable mixture into a shallow pan.
