Тема: Давай знайомитися! Звідки ти родом ?

мета: практична повторити та активізувати лексичні одиниці, граматичні структури,практикувати мовні засоби за темою «Я, моя сім’я та друзі»; вдосконалювати компетенції читання, аудіювання й усного монологічного мовлення;

розвиваюча: розвивати навички аудіювання, спонтанні відповіді на запитання та швидку реакцію; уважно стежити за презентованою інформацією; ефективно співпрацювати під час парної та групової роботи;

виховна: виховувати уміння сконцентруватися, слухати інших, формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі.освітня: розширювати кругозір учнів.

Обладнання: карта України, таблиця “The Verb to be”,  підручник для 4 класу ( Карпю’к О.Д.), тематичні картки.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання

Т. Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?

Р: Вітання з учнями віршем «Good morning to you!»

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: The topic of our today’s lesson is: “Where are you from?” Today we’ll read, write and speak in English. 

3. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу

1. Game “Follow me”

Get the children to stand in a line behind you.

Say e.g. “Walk. Now jump! ...” Move round the classroom and the children follow imitating everything you do.

ІІ. Основна частина уроку

T:Match and act out. Read the sentences in every column after me .

T: Answer my questions:

 T:“Where are you from?

P1: I am from Ukraine

T:What’s your surname?”

P:My surname is…

T:Read the sentences and match the questions and the answers.

2.  Відпрацювання граматичного матеріалу

T:Ask and answers in pairs (p. 8, ex. 2).

Pupils read and practice the questions and their own answers in pairs.

T:Act out the dialogue again.

Game “What’s missing?”

 Stick a set of flashcards on the blackboard. This time you can use school flashcards. Hold up each one and get the children to say the names as you do this. Then say ‘Close your eyes’ and demonstrate meaning. When children have their eyes closed, quickly remove one of the flashcards from the

blackboard. Children open their eyes and call out the name of the missing flashcard.

3. Розвиток навичок читання та письма

T:Read and say about the presents from Ukraine (p. 8, ex. 3).

Pupils take turns to play the guessing game in pairs using Yes/No questions and short answers. Also they can use the questions which are written on the board. “Is the boy’s name Taras? Is he from Ukraine? Is his favourite sport tennis?” Draw pupils’ attention to the verb ‘to be’ in short answers using the table “The Verb to Be”. Go round helping.

 Ask pupils to read the text after you again. Repeat chorally and individually.

Monitor the activity and help where necessary.

T:Answer the  questions :

Can you see Taras or Bill in the picture?”

 “What is Taras’s favourite colour?

What language does he like? etc.

4.Розвиток навичок усного мовлення

Т:Say if the sentences are true or false (p. 9, ex. 4).

Game “Let’s write!”

Write several letters of the alphabet on the board. Pupils come and write a word beginning with each letter (e.g., stick or draw a picture of a classroom under the letter “c”, they write the word “classroom” on the board). They can write a word combination.

ІІІ. Заключна частина уроку.

Т:Do the project and play the game (p. 9, ex. 5).

Домашнє завдання

Read p. 8, ex. 3; p. 9, ex. 5.
