Procedure
I. Introduction
1) Greetings: Good morning, children! I’m very glad to see you! Today’s lesson isn’t usual. We have guests today, so I hope you will be brave and active today.
How are you today?
T: So. All pupils are in a good mood. And I can start our lesson.
2) Aim:
Tell me, please do you like computer games? I like them too. And sometimes I play computer games. Most of all I like quests. The main idea of the quest is to find some clues, some keywords. I propose you to play quest write now, not in computer, but in real situation in this room. So, I’ll give you the first key.
This is the thing you and our guest use right now. I don’t use it. It’s a furniture. (S’s answer)
T: Yes, it’s a chair. The first hint is under your chairs, find it. (House).
T: The next key (ppt 2). Find the odd word out. (Table). Next hint is under the table.
T: To find the last key solve the puzzle (ppt 3) (WINDOW). The last key is on the window. So, it’s the capsule and this is the secret code for it. Let’s open it and find out what’s there inside. (SWEET)

And by the end of the lesson you’ll be able use vocabulary on the topic, ask and give the directions, describe house.

T: So, let’s talk about home. Do you know any proverbs about home?
Ss: 1) East or West home is best.
2) There’s no place like home.
3) Home is where the heart is.
4) My home is my castle.
A house is made of walls and beams… a home is made of love and dreams.
A house is not a home. )
T: How do you understand it? What’s the difference between a house and a home?
Ss: House- is a type of building.
Home- is a place where people live
T:What does home mean for you?
Ss: Home is a place where we can rest, have a cup of hot tea, enjoy good films, it is a place, where our nearest people are, where we can play with our pets.

II. Main part
4) Revising of the vocabulary
T: Now we’ll play “The Battle Ship” You are divided into teams .Choose the Captain and the Shooter, the captain's duty is to memorize his ship's name, so he can reply if somebody call his ship's name. The shooter's duty is to memorize the names of the ships of 'their enemies', so he can shoot them by calling their ship's name.
5) Game : “Beep sentences”
T: Pull the cards with words. Don’t say the words to your partners. Your task is to make a sentence with this word, but you shouldn’t say this word. You have to say “beep” instead.

T: Imagine that you live in a new house or flat. Take roles and act out similar dialogues about your own houses.

T: You know that there are some unusual houses in the world. They are in different countries and they are amazing. So I propose to watch the video about one of this houses. After the video you’ll answer some questions. So be attentive . (iebook)
12) Checking homework
T: For today your home task was to collect information about strange houses around the world and present it to the class. And while you are listening your classmates fill the grid .
