The only person who believes him is the mayor of the town, Rachel Wando(Linda Hamilton),a single mother of two children.Soon the mountain begins to cause serious problems and the people in the town realize the big danger of the volcano. But it’s  too late. The volcano erupts. Day becomes night: air turns to fire; buildings fall; people panic as they run for their lives through the ash and dust. Harry and Rachel discover that Rachel’s children have gone up the mountains to try and save their grandmother. They follow them. Fighting against the volcano, Harry, Rachel and children are the only people left in the destroyed town, and that’s not the end- the second eruption is still to come. If you’ve seen one disaster movie, you’ve seen them all.
